Christmas at Crofts

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire... or rather on a beantin!
First bean tin of Crofts - and thought it would be a little more Heath Robinson to make our own chestnut roaster!

Oops!

You can go out to Morocco, climb in the middle of nowhere, there be no Mountain Rescue, climb a 300 metre cliff face and come back in one piece.

OR

You can go out for a run near your house and break your ankle!

Here is my newly acquired "hobbit" foot!

And now the bruising is arriving just a scant 24 hours later....nice!

2 trips to the hospital, A&E, X-ray, A&E, Specialist, Fracture clinic, X-Ray, Fracture Clinic. I now have a lovely pot!  Its black so it don't show the muck!

Toes like black grapes...you should see them now...pic is censored!

Lets see what happens next!

Big progress today. Pot off! Air cast on - now my leg looks a little like Darth Vader's!

DIY

October half term saw a touch of DIY SOS down in york at the Oldfields'.  Laminate flooring and underfloor heating was the order of the day. Great fun and a good result.

Climbing

Enjoyed the hottest weekend on record at Birchen Edge in the Peak District. Wood and Cups presiding!
