Wainwright Backpack Weekend

After Friday social before the team tackled the Swaledale marathon, me and Louis headed to lakes for some convalescent wainwrights and a sneaky wild camp.
After much too-ing and fro-ing we completed the Hen Comb - burn scale Fell round, then headed round to Ennerdale Bridge for Grike, Crag Hill and Lank Rigg - night on Crag Hill...

It's always a privilege and pleasure to be out with Louis - I always learn loads! This weekend was true to form.  A brill time was had - much appreciated - kudos to the Hume! ;-)

The Spagnum Moss was made good use of. Washing hands before dinner
